Ritsa Gountoumas is a Los Angeles personal injury trial attorney and the founder of Praxion Law. She has dedicated her legal career to representing the “little guy”—accident victims who have been injured through no fault of their own—and assisting them in fighting back against powerful insurance companies. Her practice focuses on car accidents, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, wrongful death, premises liability, dog bite cases, and other serious injury claims, and she is committed to helping clients recover physically, financially, and emotionally after life-altering accidents.

Over the course of her career, Ritsa has recovered millions of dollars for injury victims and their families. Known for her strategic approach to litigation and thorough case preparation, she works aggressively to hold negligent individuals, corporations, and insurance companies accountable. When insurance companies refuse to offer fair compensation, she is prepared to take cases to trial to fight for her clients’ rights.

Ritsa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. Her dedication to excellence in the legal profession has earned her recognition as a California Super Lawyer, 2024 – 2027, a distinction awarded to attorneys who demonstrate outstanding professional achievement and peer recognition.

She is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), organizations devoted to protecting the rights of injured individuals and promoting justice through the civil legal system.

Juan

Juan is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, and holds a Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Irvine. Having lived in Tijuana and studied in San Diego, he has developed a cross-cultural perspective and the ability to communicate in Spanish, allowing him to better connect with and support clients from diverse backgrounds.

As a Case Manager and Paralegal, he is dedicated to facilitating the legal process by helping clients navigate their cases, coordinating case-related matters, and providing support throughout each stage of the process. He strives to ensure that clients feel informed, supported, and confident as they work toward the best possible outcome for their case. As an aspiring attorney, he remains committed to expanding his legal knowledge, strengthening his skills, and growing professionally within the legal field.
